Marci PalmerFinancial Manager
Video Transcript:
My name is Marci Palmer. I’m from Austin, Texas. I’m a financial manager for a hospice and I also go to school for photography.
I came to Front Sight because my mom and I tried to get our CCW and we went to the shooting range and we couldn’t hit the three yards. We were horrible. I was actually in the airforce for six years and I shot an M16, but we weren’t taught how to shoot handguns. And I thought maybe I would be fine with a handgun when we went to the range. I was horrible. So we wanted to get more training and learn how to use them.
My experience at Front Sight has been absolutely incredible. I started out not being able to shoot three yards and now I feel very comfortable. I carry it and I now have my CCW and I am comfortable having it around me. I’m comfortable with it in my house. I feel confident that if I was to need to use it, that I could protect myself. I live alone and I actually have my bedroom where I wouldn’t be able to get out if someone came in my house. So knowing that I know how to use my weapon and I know what to do with it and I’m pretty confident that I could protect myself if I needed to.
I think a big confidence booster for my training here at Front Sight is that I have a group of friends that every year they do a shooting competition…
