My name is Keith Brown and I’m a full time minister. I actually minister to cowboys. Our ministry started fifteen years ago. I’m from the Boise area. I live in Holmdale, Idaho. Our church is in Star, Idaho and we’re here at Front Sight this weekend with several of the leadership of our church.

First of all, you need to know that I’ve lived most of my life in California and I know I grew up with somewhat of a fear. My father was in the airforce and he didn’t like to have guns around at all, so I’ve never had any interest in guns. About eight years ago I moved to Idaho. It’s a different state with a different attitude about weapons and I thought well I don’t know anything about guns so I need to learn how to handle guns and what they’re all about.

One of the leadership of our church was coming down here and had an opportunity for me to come on a weekend for a four day handgun course. And I came down and I’m just amazed at the professionalism. It’s a lot of fun but you learn so much and it’s so professional. It’s a great way to learn how to handle a weapon.
