Hello, my name is Jennifer Scott. I’m from Littleton, Colorado and I work as a firefighter for Aurora, Colorado.

I first sought training at Front Sight because I feel that we all have a duty to be prepared for life. I actually have a lot of people in my life that deal with guns. My ex husband is a cop in Colorado so I’m around them a lot. And recently, being a single mom, I feel a duty to know how to use the weapons that I purchased for my home.

I kind of live in two worlds. As a firefighter working for Aurora I think everyone knows about the theater shooting that just happened. I relieved the crews that responded that night. They were actually within ten feet of the perpetrator. I relieved the crews and then I was actually at the perpetrator’s house the next day with the bomb squad.
