4-Day Uzi Submachine Gun

Submachine gun, sling and magazines provided by Front Sight for $200. Open to private citizens and law enforcement alike. This is a comprehensive course in the tactical use of the submachine gun that will leave you in full command and control of the most desired small arms in the world.

Prerequisite Class(s): None - entry level course

ALL students must show photo ID at Sign-In, regardless of age!

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to score center hits on your target by modulating the trigger of the submachine gun (with the weapon`s selector on full auto) to deliver on demand, single shots, or 2 round bursts. You will engage targets from muzzle contact distance out to 50 yards. You will gain a full perspective on the diverse application of the submachine gun and shoot it to its tactical limits.

Lecture Topics Include: Use of Deadly Force and the Law; Color Code of Mental Awareness; Civil Liability; Stopping Power and more.

Firing Range Drills Include: Loading and Unloading; Carrying Positions; Ready Positions; Shooting Stance; Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Trigger Modulation to Deliver Selected Number of Rounds Per Burst; Rapid Assumption of Kneeling, Squat, Sitting, and Prone Shooting Positions; Shooting on the Move; Multiple Target Engagements; Target Engagement from Muzzle Contact Distance to 50 yards; Live-Fire Tactical Simulators; Man-on-Man Shooting Competition; Skills Evaluation; and more.

Ammunition must be purchased from the Ammo Bunker at Front Sight. This ensures correct functioning of the weapon and, more importantly, your safety. Ammunition will be purchased each morning. Please go here for current ammunition pricing.

Age Requirements:

16 to 17 years old, welcome to take regular firearms courses alone as long as a parent or guardian is onsite; parent or guardian can be enrolled in a different course or on a different range.
Minimum age is 11 if taking the course with a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian MUST be the one working with the child during the entire course, and be responsible for only ONE child.
Children age 10 and under are not allowed.

Unattended minors are NOT allowed on the property. They must be escorted by a parent or guardian at all times or be enrolled in an appropriate course.
