Youth Self Defense Training

Front Sight's youth courses are designed to prepare youth for the challenges they will face during the difficult teen years. The youth courses are ideal for kids ages 11 to 15 (or grades 6 through 11). This fun and interactive two-day course will give your son or daughter the tools they need to stay aware, safe, and ethical.

Activities:

Through thought provoking, age-appropriate discussions, group activities, demonstrations, and role-playing, your teen will learn how to resist peer pressure as it relates to alcohol, drugs, unethical activities, and other dangers facing youth today. Your teens will leave Front Sight fully empowered with the Teen`s Color Code of Mental Awareness and techniques to spot, evade, and defend themselves in dangerous and violent situations. They will also be equipped against the rising number of deviants and predators lurking on the internet and prowling in our communities. In short, your teen will gain the skill necessary to make a graceful and safe transition into adulthood.

For fun and adventurous breaks during the course, your youth will spend time exploring (under close professional supervision) Front Sight`s ropes courses. Your youth will also receive take-home materials so you can periodically review their skills.

Equipment Required:

Depending on the season, participants may need rain gear and layered clothing for warmth for outdoor activities. All other materials are provided by Front Sight.
