M-16 in the new M4 configuration is provided by Front Sight. Open to private citizens and law enforcement alike. This is a comprehensive course in the tactical use of the M16 that will leave you in full command and control of the most desired small arms in the world.

| Upon completion of this course, you will be able to score center hits on your target by modulating the trigger of the M16 (with the weapon`s selector on full auto) to deliver on demand, single shots, or 2, or 3 round bursts. You will engage targets from muzzle contact distance out to 200 yards. You will gain a full perspective and command in the application of the M16 and shoot it to its tactical limits. | | Lecture Topics Include: Use of Deadly Force and the Law; Color Code of Mental Awareness; Civil Liability; Stopping Power; Tactical Application Comparisons to Handgun, Shotgun, and Submachine Gun; and more. | | Firing Range Drills Include: Loading and Unloading; Carrying Positions; Ready Positions; Shooting Stance; Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Trigger Modulation to Deliver Selected Number of Rounds Per Burst; Rapid Assumption of Kneeling, Squat, Sitting, and Prone Shooting Positions; Multiple Target Engagements; Target Engagement from Muzzle Contact Distance to 200 yards; Live-Fire Tactical Simulators and more. Ammunition Requirements: Ammunition requirements for a student who is new to Front Sight and who will be attending the classroom lectures: 1,000 rounds of 223. Ammunition requirements for a returning Front Sight student who will not be attending the classroom lectures: 1,200 rounds of 223. Ammunition must be purchased from Front Sight`s Pro Shop.
