 | Front Sight's 4-Day Advanced Integrated Handgun Course includes live-fire range exercises and force-on-force training. Live-fire handgun training emphasizes close-range shooting with movement on reactive, multiple, and moving targets. Range exercises include ambidextrous shooting; one-handed shooting; transitioning to the backup weapon; atypical firing positions; ground fighting with a pistol; 180 degree firing; firing from within, outside, and under vehicles; firing on the move at moving targets; close quarter combat; hostage targets with mobile hostage taker; search techniques; taking people into custody; shoot-no shoot decision making; and adverse light firing. In the force-on-force training, you will work with red guns, training knives, and air soft handguns in close range knife attacks, multiple threats with discriminatory shooting, searching, and taking people into custody in no-shoot situations. | | There will be specialized lectures on what to do after the shooting ceases; action/reaction, terminal ballistics, physiological effects of life threatening stress on human performance, and three-dimensional human target analysis. |  |  | Test your skills against the live-fire computerized metal shooting trailer. |
